Grammy Awards 2013: the red carpet

Sunday evening, February 10, 2013, it was celebrated the annual ceremony of delivery of 55th Grammy Awards at Staples Center in Los Angeles. Now I'm not here to list all the awards and their corresponding winners, but I want to focus in particular on what we have seen parading on the red carpet. Domenica sera, 10 Febbraio 2013, si è celebrata la cerimonia annuale di consegna dei 55esimi Grammy Awards allo Staples Center di Los Angeles. Adesso non sto qui ad elencarvi tutti i premi ed i loro corrispettivi vincitori, ma voglio focalizzare l'attenzione, in particolare, su ciò che si è visto sfilare sul red carpet. Natasha Bedingfield in Emerson  Vote: 4  Qui è l'abito il colpevole! Ok il rosso, il pizzo e la lunghezza...ma era necessaria quella cintura argentata e i tagli voluti lateralmente?
Here is the dress the guilty! Ok the red, the lace and the length ... but was necessary that belt in silver and the cuts laterally took?
 Rihanna in Azzedine Alaïa Vote: 10 Dite quello che vi pare, ma qui son di parte! L'abito è da sogno e su di lei sta d'incanto...dunque nulla da obiettare per quel che riguarda una delle mie cantanti preferite da sempre! :-P
Say what you like, but here I'm biased! The dress is a dream and on her is enchanting ... so no objection with regard to one of my favorite singers always! :-P
Skylar Grey in Giorgio Armani Vote: 8 Abito rosso scintillante che lascia le spalle e la schiena scoperte, per un risultato seducente e di grande effetto. In generale la silhouette di quest'abito ricorda molto le dive degli anni 40' ed il trucco e parrucco valorizzano ancora di più il tutto.
Sparkling red dress that leaves shoulders and back uncovered for an alluring and impressive final result. In general, the silhouette of this dress is very reminiscent of the divas of the 40s' and the hair and makeup enhance even more the whole. Janelle Monae in Against Nature vest and shirt, Moschino jacket and Ralph Lauren hat Vote: 3 E' pur vero che domani è Carnevale! Ma, salvo la giacca, già di per se difficile da interpretare...per il resto meglio lasciar perdere! 
It 's true that tomorrow is Carnival! But, except for the jacket, already perceived as difficult to interpret for the rest ... forget it!
 Kaley Cuoco with Armen black blazer Vote: 6 Look semplice ed equilibrato, la cui attenzione si focalizza sulla giacca in nero ed oro. 
Simple and balanced look, whose attention is focused on the jacket in black and gold. Beyoncè in Osman jumpsuit Vote: 7 Una tuta di tendenza quella della cantante Beyoncè caratterizzata dal classico duo bianco e nero, che indosserei anch'io molto volentieri. An overall trend that the singer Beyonce featuring the classic duo black and white, I would wear very happy. Florence Welch in Givenchy Vote: 2 E' vero che ai Grammy si vince per l'eccentricità, sarà anche un abito Givenchy e di una tonalità di verde che fa tendenza, ma io lo trovo davvero orrido ed in più mal si abbina alla sua carnagione ed al colore dei suoi capelli.
It 's true that you win the Grammy for eccentricity, will also be a Givenchy dress and a shade of green that is trendy, but I find it really horrible and most poorly matched her complexion and the color of her hair.  J.Lo in Anthony Vaccarello Vote: 4 Troppo audace lo spacco di quest'abito mono-spalla per le curve sinuose di Jennifer Lopez, i sandali gli mozzano la gamba e sono un tantino volgari....poi ripetiamolo tutte insieme...BASTA PLATEAU!  Cosa vogliamo dire poi dell'acconciatura, che sembra fatta a caso? 
The openings of this one-shoulder dress is too daring for the smooth curves of Jennifer Lopez, sandals cropping the leg and are a little vulgar .... then repeat it all together ... STOP PLATEAU! What do we mean then hairstyle that seems to be made at random?
 Alexa Chung in Valentino Red Vote: 7 Adoro il suo stile, però nonostante sia abito che scarpe siano di mio gradimento, non trovo che il look nel complesso sia adatto ad un red carpet dei Grammy.
I love her style, but despite that dress and shoes are to my liking, I do not find that the overall look is suitable for a red carpet of the Grammy.
 Nicole Kidman in Vera Wang Vote:7 Abito dorato in pizzo dall'effetto vedo non vedo, al quale manca qualche accessorio da contorno ed inoltre avrei optato per un acconciatura raccolta e spettinata.
Golden dress in lace see-through effect, which accessories are missing from contour and I also opted for a collected and disheveled hair.  Solange Knowles in Ralph&Russo Vote: 5 L'abito mi piace su di lei, ma le scarpe sono decisamente "too much" e poi un filino di trucco potevi pur metterlo o no?
I like the dress on her, but the shoes are definitely "too much" and then a tad bit of makeup you could even put it or not?
Adele in Valentino Couture Vote:7 Questo è il genere di abito che se fosse disponibile da Zara(per farvi un esempio), l'avrei sicuramente acquistato per la sua forma a campana. L'unica cosa che cambierei in questo look sono le scarpe, magari optando per un modello a tinta unita, visto che l'abito è di per se già elaborato.
This is the kind of dress that if it was available from Zara (to make an example), I would have definitely bought for its bell shape. The only thing I would change in this look are the shoes, perhaps opting for a model solid, since the dress is in itself already particular.
 Alicia Keys in Azzedine Alaïa Vote: 10 Davvero particolare quest'abito nero, che dona molta ad Alicia Keys! Approvata in pieno la sua scelta, il make-up e l'acconciatura.  Very special this dress in black, which gives a lot to Alicia Keys! Approved her choice in full, make-up and hairstyle also.
 Ashanti in Tony Ward Couture Vote: 4 Credo che l'abito non valorizza la figura della cantante e poi le trasparenze non lasciano davvero nulla all'immaginazione! Molto bella, invece, l'acconciatura.
I think that the dress can not valorize the figure of the singer and then the transparency is not really leave nothing to the imagination! Very nice, however, the hairstyle. Allison Williams in Kaufmann Franco Vote:9 Lei è molto carina e l'abito è perfetto...nulla da aggiungere a questo giro!
She is very pretty and the dress is perfect ... nothing to add to this tour!
Estelle in Genelle Brooks x Love Collins Vote: 4 La forma dell'abito non mi dispiace, ma la fantasia ed il decollete non mi convincono molto, così come gli accessori che ha deciso di abbinarci.
The shape of the dress I do not mind, but the fantasy and decollete do not convince me much, as well as accessories that she decided to go with it.

The dress is nice, but the neck is not suitable for her, given the abundance and her fair skin does not do justice to the pastel colors of the dress.
Kelly Rowlands in Georges Chakra Vote: 7 Non è un abito così tanto facile da indossare, viste le sue trasparenze e la sua linea. Ma la cantante Kelly è riuscita nell'intento senza risultare eccessivamente volgare.
It is not a dress so easy to wear, due to its transparency and its line. But the singer Kelly has succeeded in without being too vulgar.

Taylor Swift in J. Mendel Vote: 10 Una dea greca moderna oserei dire. Mi piace la silhouette dell'abito, le scarpe che s'intonano ai suoi dettagli ed i capelli raccolti.
A modern Greek goddess dare say. I like the silhouette of the dress, the shoes that blends in with its details and hair.
Carrie Underwood in Roberto Cavalli Vote: 8 La linea ed i dettagli dell'abito lo rendono davvero bello, però la parte che prediligo di più e probabilmente dalla vita in su. Mentre per i capelli avrei optato per una coda laterale bassa.

The line and the details of the dress make it really nice, but I prefer the more and probably from the waist up. As for the hair I opted for a low-side tail. Carly Rae Jepsen in Roberto Cavalli Vote: 8 Pelle diafana, capelli neri con frangia e occhi color ghiaccio...tutti elementi che ben si abbinano all'abito grigio scintillante a sirena di Roberto Cavalli.
Pale skin, dark hair and eye by ice color ... all of which are well matched to the grey shimmering mermaid dress by Roberto Cavalli.
