Milan Men Fashion Week: Day 1

If someone ask me how is attending the Milan Fashion Week, there're a lot of words that come to my mind, but for those who never attended something like that, all i can say is that a dream came true. Milan in those days is totally different, it's easy to meet models, journalists and fashion editors coming from all over the world. The preparation was long but now all the lights are on the catwalks. For the first time, i'm there too, On Saturday 22^th I started my Fashion Week with the show of Corneliani, scheduled at 9.30 am. I took a little break and i went to Dolce & Gabbana in Corso Venezia and in the end i was invited to the cockail party of Byblos, where it was presented the new men's collection SS 2014. But, let's go step by step.
Se qualcuno dovesse chiedermi com'è partecipare alla Milan Fashion Week, le parole che mi vengono in mente sono tante e palesemente in antitesi tra loro, ma per chi non avesse mai vissuto questa esperienza posso solo dire che è un sogno che diventa realtà. Milano in questi giorni è cambiata, tra le strada del centro è semplice imbattersi in modelli, giornalisti e fashion editors provenienti da tutto il mondo. La preparazione è stata lunga ma ora tutti i riflettori sono puntati sulle varie passerelle. Tra questi occhi ci sono anche i miei, infatti Sabato 22 ho inaugurato la mia Fashion Week, con la sfilata di Corneliani in programma alle 9.30 per poi fare una piccola pausa e spostarmi da Dolce & Gabbana in Corso Venezia e concludere la giornata al cocktail party Byblos, dove è stata presentata la nuova collezione maschile SS 2014. Ma procediamo per gradi.

9.30 AM Via Besana, journalists and buyers crowd the entrance of Corneliani Fashion Show, some minutes of waiting and Giorgio by Moroder, one of my favourite songs of Daft Punk, started. A Voyage to the far East: white window treatment, warm colors, sobriety mixed with more exotic touches, details that characterize the spring, summer 2014 collection. A modern, but elegant “product”. Well-finished details like the Nehru collar with visible sartotial stiching. Brilliant fine pure silk and silk/linen-mix fabrics, a melting pot of western aesthetics and oriental style in glossy. Corneliani, which has been taking its brand of elegance around the world for over 50 years.
9.30 Via Besana, giornalisti e buyers si affollavano davanti l'ingresso della mitica cornice che ospitava il fashion show di Corneliani, alcuni minuti di attesa e parte Giorgio by Moroder, una delle mie canzoni preferite dall'ultimo album dei Daft Punk. Un viaggio nell'estremo Oriente, queste possono essere le parole per descrivere la sfilata: tendaggi bianchi, colori caldi, sobrietà unita a tocchi di esotismo, caratteri che fanno della collezione primavera, estate 2014 un prodotto moderno ma elegante. Dettagli curati, come il collo a guru con impunte sartoriali a vista, preziosi anche i tessuti di pura seta e seta misto a lino lucido. Tutto ciò si immerge in un clima che pare voglia unire l'estetica occidentale e gusto orientale. Corneliani da oltre 50 anni, continua così a portare il suo messaggio di eleganza in tutto il mondo.
