Of mice and men

Adoro da sempre i romanzi di formazione, i c.d. Bildungsromane, ed in particolare Of mice and men (Uomini e Topi in italiano) dello scrittore americano John Steinbeck. Si tratta di un romanzo breve che consiglio a chiunque: molto toccante e commovente, ogni volta che lo prendo in mano mi fa riflettere sul senso della vita, sui nostri comportamenti e sentimenti nei confronti degli altri e su quanto affetto e amicizia sinceri siano importanti (sembra scontato, non lo è). Per sdrammatizzare un po' vi propongo le seguenti immagini: una mia interpretazione di quello che oggi, almeno nella moda, potremmo definire il rapporto tra... uomini e topi.
I have always loved Bildungsromane and especially Of mice and men by the American writer John Steinbeck. It is a novel, which I really recommend to everyone: it is moving and each time I read it, it makes me think about the sense of life, about our behaviour and feelings towards others and about how important true friendship and affection are (which seems obvious, but is not). To lighten the mood, here there are the following pictures: my personal interpretation of what, at least in fashion, is the relationship between... mice and men today.
Ich liebe schon seit immer Bildungsromane und besonders Of mice and men, des amerikanischen Schriftstellers John Steinbeck. Er ist ein kurzer Roman, den ich ich jedem zu lesen empfehle: Er ist rührend und lässt mich jedes mal über den Sinn des Lebens, über unser Benehmen und unsere Gefühle gegenüber anderen und über die Wichtigkeit von echter Freundschaft und Zuneigung nachdenken (was selbstverständlich scheinen mag, es aber nicht ist). Um die Stimmung etwas aufzuhellen, zeige ich euch folgende Bilder: Meine Interpretation von dem was heute, zumindest in der Mode, die Beziehung zwischen... Mäusen und Menschen ist.
