Some Tips for Shopping the Winter Sales

"Fashion isn't a necessity. It pulls at your heart. It's a whim. You don't need it. You want it." Marc Jacobs is right, infact, starting from the beginning of January, winter sales are the year's best opportunity to pick up high fashion and not at knock-down prices, online and on the high street. But before you start your shopping, consult our seven sales guidelines for sales success.
1.Before you start, look in your wardrobe - then make a list Avoid the easy trap of buying yet more of the same items. Remind yourself  you have for example 10 pairs of jeans and no skirt. 2.   Yes, you may want it, but will you wear it? 
Remain cool in the face of sales-induced mass hysteria. You are about to buy something because you love the idea of it - and it looks like a bargain: but can you imagine wearing it, and if so, when and where? This is the best test to avoid buying un-useless clothes that will stay forever unloved in the wardrobe.
3.   Relish the discount, but never overlook the price 
Anything north of a 40 per cent discount is giddy territory. Before you hand over that knock-down sum, however, ask yourself this: if the price was, in fact, the full price, would I still desire this item? If the answer is yes, carry on.
4.   Don't be distracted 
Try not to listen to stores deploying trying every weapon in their arsenal to compel you to buy. Eat before leaving the house to ensure your energy levels stay high, and consider wearing headphones as you shop to listen to your music and insulate you from the most grating in-store soundtracks.
5.   Shop around 
Spotted an unmissable bargain? Just make sure this price is the most convenient in your area.
6.   Don't be rushed 
It's easy to succumb to the illusion of scarcity: if you don't buy this now, you'll never get it this cheap again. None the less, refer back to rules 2, 3 and 5 before bagging your item.
7.   Stay within your budget 
Desire, even as articulated by Marc Jacobs, is NO EXCUSE for debt.

Prima di cominciare il vostro shopping, consultate la nostra guida fatta di sette regole, per ottenere saldi di successo 1. Prima di cominciare, Guarda nel tuo armadio – e fai una lista Evitate la trappola di comprare gli stessi capi. Ricordati, ad esempio, se nell’armadio hai 10 paia di jeans e neanche una gonna.  2. Si, lo vuoi, ma lo indosserai? Rimanete calmi/e e non fatevi prendere dal panico. Stai per comprare qualcosa perché ti piace l’idea che costa poco: ma te lo immagini addosso? E se si dove e quando? Questo è il miglior test per evitare di comprare capi inutili che resteranno per sempre odiati dentro il guardaroba. 3.  Assapora lo sconto, ma MAI trascurare il Prezzo
Qualunque cosa sopra il 40% di sconto è un territorio minato. Prima di pagare qualsiasi somma chiediti questo: Se il prezzo fosse stato un prezzo pieno, avrei desiderato ancora questo capo? Se la risposta è si, procedente con l’acquisto.
4.Non Distraetevi
Cercate di non ascoltare le commesse/commessi che provano qualsiasi arma del loro arsenale per convincervi a comprare. Mangia prima di uscire di casa, per assicurarti un livello elevato di energie e considera di indossare delle cuffie con la musica e isolati dai rumori e dalle colonne sonore dei negozi. 5.Fate molti giri Avete visto un occasione imperdibile? Assicuratevi che il prezzo sia il più conveniente di tutti e di tutta la zona. 6.Non Andate di Fretta E’ facile soccomber all’illusione della scarsità: se non lo compri ora non lo comprerai mai ad un prezzo così basso. Sbagliato! riguardate le regole 2, 3 e 5 prima di acquistare qualcosa.
7.Resta nel tuo Budget
Il desiderio, come anche ha detto Marc Jacobs, NON è una scusa per fare debiti.
