 ”STICK’AZZ” International Stickers Show. a cura di Frank Lucignolo e Sandro Crash in collaborazione con Stencilnoire e Chekos’art. By Street art south italy. Diamo il benvenuto a tutti gli artisti che desiderano partecipare alla nuova Mostra Internazionale di Stickers. “stick’azz” collettiva di street artisti nazionali ed internazionali, impegnati con installazioni a base di sticker/adesivi. Una cultura che nasce per strada, e che invita a guardare le strade con occhi diversi. Da alcuni anni numerosi artisti riferibili a quel variegato fenomeno internazionale che è la street art hanno affiancato ai graffiti e alle installazioni urbane un mezzo espressivo meno invasivo, ma ugualmente soprendente: l’adesivo. Alcuni ossessivi come ogni logo, altri sempre mutevoli, sfuggenti, precari, realizzati al di là del luogo comune con le più diverse tecniche e materiali, dalla fotocopia alla stampa tipografica, dallo stencil al pennarello, dal collage di fogli adesivi alla serigrafia, Gli stickers sono messaggi offerti allo sguardo del passante; nel suo piccolo formato ci sono tutte le contraddizioni di una societa’ capitalistica, incapace di guardarsi e auto criticarsi, tra vandalismo grafico, pubblicita’ sovversive, messaggi semplici ed efficaci, a riconoscimento pubblico, come dimostra il sempre più fervido fiorire di mostre ed eventi dedicati a tale corrente, a sottolineare una volontà globale di eleggere la strada come propria personalissima “galleria di riferimento”, e l’adesivo come medium estetico alla portata di tutti, scambiabile a riproducibile, immediato quanto anti-commerciale. Questa esposizione non offre soluzioni, riconoscimenti, giudizi qualitativi, ma documenta un fenomeno con la casualità che lo contraddistingue, affiancando opere di street-artisti internazionalmente noti anche all’ufficialità dell’arte ad altre di personalità anonime,che hanno collaborato in questi 3 anni nei nostri progetti, con artisti, italiani, olandesi, tedeschi, inglesi, colombiani, indonesiani, francesi, statunitensi ecc… Sebbene l’utilizzo di adesivi come opere di street art sia una pratica molto recente, il rapporto di questo mezzo con l’arte è un fatto ormai storicizzato, sebbene ancora poco conosciuto. Come documenta una vetrinetta posta a introduzione del percorso, alcuni adesivi stampati anche in litografia, vennero già utilizzati negli anni Sessanta come mezzo di comunicazione dai movimenti pacifisti più creativi. Vi aspettiamo in tanti per un evento che vuole essere una tra le forme piu’ rivoluzionarie di tutti i tempi. “STICK’AZZ” A breve sarà comunicato il luogo espositivo.. Street art South Italy Nous nous félicitons de tous les artistes qui souhaitent participer à l’Exposition Internationale de nouveaux autocollants. Une culture qui nait dans la rue, et qui invite à regarder les rues avec des yeux differentes. Depuis certains anneés nombreux artistes liès au bigarré phénomène international de la street art ont adjointé aux graffiti et à les installations urbaines un moyen expressif moin invasif, mais également surprisant: l’adhésif. Certaines obséssives comme chaque logo, autres toujours changeant, fuyant, précaire, realisés au delà du clichè, avec les plus disparates téchinques et materiaux, de la photocopie à l’impression typographique, du stencil au feutre, du collage des papiers adhésives à la sérigraphie. Les stickers sont messages offris au regard du passant; dans son petit format on retrouve toutes les contradictions d’une société capitaliste, incapable de se regarder et de s’auto-critiquer, entre vandalisme grafique, réclames subversives, messages simples et efficaces, publiquement reconnaissés, comme demontre le grand nombre de montres et des événements dediès à cette courant, à souligner une volontè globale de élire la rue comme propre et personale “galerie de référence”, et l’adhésif comme moyen esthétique, à disposition de tout le monde, répétible, immédiat tant que non-commercial. Cette exposition n’offre pas des solutions, des reconaissances, jugement de qualité, mais reporte un phénomène avec la casuelité que lui caractérise, en mettant ensemble oeuvres des street artists intérnationalement connus, même dans “l’art officielle”, et autres des personnalités anonymes, qui ont collaborè pendant ces 3 anneés avec nos projets, avec artists italiens, néerlandaises, allemands, anglaises, des États-Unis, colombiens, françaises, indonésiens ex… Bien que l’utilisation des adhésives comme oeuvres de street art soie une pratique trés récente, le liaison de ce moyen avec l’art est un fait désormais accepté, bien que encore peu connu. Comme reporte une vitrine mise au début du parcours de la montre, adhésives imprimé même en lithographie furent dejà utilisés dans les anneés ’60 comme moyen de communication par les groupes pacifistes les plus créatives. We welcome all artists who wish to participate in the International Exhibition of new stickers. “Stick’azz” collective of street artists, national and international, working with facilities-based stickers / adhesives.
