Techology la nuova collezione di sneakers anni’80 al White‏

Durante la prossima edizione milanese di WHITE, verrà presentato in anteprima mondiale TECHNOLOGY: il nuovo brand di Sneakers totalmente Made in Italy, che trae forte ispirazione dal mondo Eighties.

TECHNOLOGY reinterpreta le tendenze del mondo hip hop afro-americano dei primi anni ‘80, ispirandosi ai fenomeni cult della Breakdance, tipici dei sobborghi newyorkesi del tempo.

E’ il 1984. Nelle sale viene proiettato il film Breakin’ che inonda e sconvolge il mondo con la voglia di Breakdance. Nello stesso anno esce l’album Sound-System del trasgressivo e rivoluzionario Herbie Hancock che con la sua irriverente creatività vince i Grammy Awards influenzando prepotentemente lo stile e l’estetica dell’epoca.

Da questa atmosfera nasce TECHNOLOGY, una nuova linea di sneakers interamente realizzata con la nuova tecnologia ad Alta Frequenza - un particolare procedimento industriale applicato alla lavorazione delle materie plastiche e non che, combinato con la stampa serigrafica, permette di ottenere dettagli colorati e a rilievo – che esprime una nuova visione “techno-vintage”, frutto di una ricerca stilistica accurata ed attenta, che guarda al passato con gli occhi del futuro.

During the next edition of WHITE show in Milan, will be world premiered TECHNOLOGY: the new Made in Italy sneakers Brand inspired by the Eighties.

TECHNOLOGY reinterprets the early 80s African American hip hop world trends, inspired by the Breakdance cult, typical of the that time New York City suburbs.

1984. At the movie theaters Breakin’ is projected subverting and flooding the world with the desire of Breakdance. The same year, the transgressive and revolutionary pianist Herbie Hancock, with his irreverent creativity, wins a Grammy Award for his new album “Sound System”, powerfully influencing styles and aesthetic of the time.

From this atmosphere comes TECHNOLOGY, a new sneakers collection entirely made with the new High Frequency technology – a particular industrial process applied to plastic materials that, combined with screen printing, allows to obtain colorful details in relief- which expresses a new “techno-vintage” vision result of a careful stylistic research that looks closely at the world of the Eighties but in a modern way.
